Tennis Performance Method

My specialist assessment method, called the "Tennis Performance Method", uses various analyzes to obtain a complete picture of your fitness and identify any areas for improvement.

Observation and Video-Photo Analysis
I observe and evaluate your posture and movements while standing and during specific movements, via videos and photos. I identify any asymmetries or imbalances that could negatively influence technical gestures or cause injuries.
Postural Analysis
I measure your posture using special tools to evaluate the distribution of body weight and plantar support. I examine the physiological curves of the spine and the alignment of the body in space. I integrate the analysis with specific tests to evaluate postural tone, vestibular, ocular, occlusal and breech receptors.
Scapulohumeral Biomechanical Analysis
Evaluation of shoulder mobility and function. Identification of any motor dysfunctions and deficits.
Muscle Chain Analysis
I evaluate the tone and length of the muscle chains, looking for any limitations that could affect your performance. I analyze the motor patterns characterizing tennis to identify any muscular imbalances.
Specific Tests
In addition to strength, flexibility and proprioception tests, I include visual ability tests (tactical and technical eye) to evaluate your hand-eye coordination. I evaluate your coordination and balance, two key aspects for tennis performance.
Grip Analysis

Final Report

At the end of the evaluation, I draw up a detailed report that you will receive in the following days, which includes:

  • Summary of the results of all analyses.

  • Specific osteopathic diagnosis for tennis players.

  • Personalized treatment plan, based on your needs and goals.

Why are postural and biomechanical assessments important?

Postural assessment studies your body's strategy for maintaining balance in static and dynamic conditions, evaluating its ability to react to the force of gravity. Correct posture allows good balance, avoids overloads and guarantees optimal movement.

The biomechanical evaluation, on the other hand, focuses on the specificity of the tennis movement, analyzing your technique with the support of video analysis. The goal is to identify any inefficiencies or errors that could cause injury or limit your performance.
